I believe that my values say more about me than anything else. I value integrity, compassion, and self-discovery and I make a conscious decision each day to integrate these values into my recovery, work, relationships, and self-care. Living my daily life based on my core values has allowed me to develop a strong sense of self and purpose. My experiences as an educator and cultural ambassador lend naturally to my ongoing roles as a mentor and community leader. Years of customer service have given me a tough skin and matured my interpersonal communication skills. My ongoing passion for the field of mathematics continues to nurture my creativity, imagination, and abstract thinking. I relish the opportunity to bring my life experiences and core values into every conversation, every share, every act of service, and all my personal pastimes. I am 100% “cat person” and proud mama of a Norwegian Forrest cat named Icarus.
