PAWsitive Recovery Impact Report
We are pleased to present our impact report, highlighting the progress and achievements of PAWsitive Recovery in our mission to provide support and healing through animal-assisted therapy. With the dedication and commitment of our team, volunteers, and supporters, we have made significant strides in positively impacting the lives of both individuals and animals. Here are some key highlights:
- Animals in Foster: Currently, we have 26 animals in our foster program. These animals are receiving loving care and support while their owners seek treatment, ensuring their well-being and maintaining the bond between owners and pets.
- Owners and Pets Served: We are proud to share that we have successfully served 76 owners and their pets through our program. By providing animal-assisted therapy and temporary foster care, we have supported individuals in their recovery journey while ensuring their pets receive the care they need.
- Workshops: Our organization conducts an average of five workshops per month. These workshops cover a range of topics including coping skills, stress management, and mindfulness. By offering these workshops, we empower individuals with valuable tools for personal growth and recovery.
- Chapter Expansion: We are excited to announce the establishment of one chapter of PAWsitive Recovery. This expansion allows us to extend our reach and provide support to more individuals in need of our services.
- Non-Paid Full-Time Employee: Despite limited resources, we are fortunate to have one dedicated non-paid full-time employee who works tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of our organization. Their commitment and passion are integral to our ability to provide quality care and support.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers, foster families, board members, and donors who have played a pivotal role in making this impact possible. Together, we are transforming lives and strengthening the bond between humans and animals.
Looking Ahead: While we celebrate our achievements, we recognize that there is still much work to be done. Moving forward, we aim to expand our foster program, increase the number of individuals and animals we serve, and continue offering impactful workshops. We also strive to secure additional funding to support our operations and enhance our organizational capacity.
With your continued support and partnership, we are confident that we can make an even greater difference in the lives of those in need. Thank you for being part of our journey and for your unwavering commitment to our mission.
